Applications
Syringes
Release and retraction mechanisms of safety syringes, or needle shields, are often controlled by compression springs. Tekda has delivered many spring coiling machines for these applications.
Autoinjectors
An autoinjector typically holds two compression springs: one injection (drive spring) and one needle cover spring. Tekda has manufactured spring coiling machines for autoinjector springs, including machines designed for producing injection springs and those for creating needle cover springs.
Blood lancet devices
Blood lancets are used to make punctures, such as a fingerstick, to obtain small blood specimens. Compression springs are commonly used in blood lancet devices. Tekda has experience of delivering spring coiling systems for this application.
Blood collection devices
