The Tekda C4 series is a spring coiling system for integration in an assembly line
The concept of in-line spring feeding with integrated spring manufacturing offers a cost efficient and flexible way to assemble springs integrating the spring feeding and the spring production in one unit.
Our spring coiling systems are developed to meet various demands of output rates, spring designs and tolerances. The spring winders are primarily designed to serve assembly lines. The idea is that one start signal shall generate exactly the right number of springs at the right location. The spring coilers are normally delivered complete with tubes or delivery rods for the spring delivery and an interface for the start of the coiler.

- Outer Diameter (OD): 1 mm to 22 mm
- Pitch Range: 0.4 mm to 26.4 mm (dependent on OD and spring design)

Footprint
Tekda provides two versions of chassis solutions to meet diverse production needs: the XMS chassis and the Side to Side Back to Back (SSBB) chassis.
- XMS chassis dimensions: 1560 x 1020 x 2100 mm
- SSBB chassis dimensions: 2460 x 1040 x 2100 mm
The XMS chassis offers a compact footprint, ideal for environments where space is limited. A smaller footprint allows for increased flexibility in facility layout, enabling businesses to optimize production areas and potentially integrate additional equipment without costly facility expansions.
The SSBB chassis, while larger, is specifically designed for high-volume or dual-line production setups, providing increased capacity and operational efficiency when space allows.

Options
The full potential of the C4 series is achieved when combined with the post manufacturing features such as heat treatment, diameter control, length check, load control, and length control before the spring is delivered to the production line.
There are two main options for chassis: XMS or SSBB chassis.
The SSBB chassis offers a possibility to place machines in a row against another row of machines or against a wall to save floor space. This chassis is also the choice for larger spool sizes up to 350 kgs.

Wire handling and accessories
- Electrically powered dereeler with a pneumatic lifting function.
- Mounted close to the floor when paired with a stand for stability.
- Controlled via a linear encoder for precise movement.
- Designed for 560 and 760 spools, but 460 spools can also be used.
- Maximum spool weight: 350 kg.
Ideal for: Large-scale wire feeding applications requiring precision and load management.
- Electrically powered unit for controlled unspooling of wire.
- Installed near the ground when integrated with a stand for maximum stability.
- Movement is precisely managed by a linear encoder.
- Supports various spool sizes; recommended maximum spool weight: 40 kg.
Best for: Medium-weight wire handling with smooth, consistent performance.
